📔 Mommy's Diary — Privacy Policy

The short version: Your baby's data stays on your device. We don't collect it, we don't see it, we don't sell it. Period.

1. Information We Collect

We collect nothing. Mommy's Diary stores all data locally on your device using on-device storage. This includes:

Baby profiles (name, date of birth, gender)
Feeding logs (milk, food, water)
Medication schedules and logs
Growth measurements (height, weight, head circumference)
Food journals and planned foods

None of this data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. We do not have servers. We cannot access your data.

2. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Your data remains on your phone and is not synced to any cloud service. If you delete the app, all data is permanently deleted.

3. Push Notifications

Mommy's Diary may request permission to send local push notifications for medication reminders. These notifications are scheduled and triggered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

4. Health Data

Mommy's Diary uses WHO (World Health Organization) Child Growth Standards to calculate growth percentiles. These calculations happen entirely on your device. No health data is transmitted anywhere.

5. Third-Party Services

Mommy's Diary does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use:

Google Analytics or any analytics SDK
Facebook SDK or any social media SDK
Any advertising network
Any crash reporting service that collects personal data

6. Children's Privacy

While Mommy's Diary is designed to track information about babies and children, the app is intended for use by parents and caregivers (adults). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data entry is performed by the parent/caregiver and stored solely on their device.

7. PDF Export

Mommy's Diary allows you to export growth reports as PDF files. When you use this feature, the PDF is generated entirely on your device. Sharing the PDF (via email, AirDrop, etc.) is initiated by you and handled by your device's native sharing capabilities — we are not involved in this process.

8. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with anyone because we do not have access to your data. The only way your data leaves your device is if you explicitly choose to share a PDF report using the export feature.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete individual entries, baby profiles, or all data at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data. There is no backup or recovery once data is deleted, as we do not store copies.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version at this URL and update the effective date. Since we don't collect your email or any contact information, we cannot notify you directly — please check this page periodically.
